Welcome to Superman35

First of all, thank you for finding your way to this particular corner of the internet, I hope that your click will be rewarded.

The purpose of this blog, not to mentioned the linked blogs in the profile is to celebrate all incarnations of Superman and the Superfamily that have graced the big and small screen.

2013 brings us many things...Superman is 75 this year, the longest running continually published fictional creation, with millions of fans spread around the world and thousands of appearances in over twenty titles over the last seven and a half decades. The Cinematic Franchise celebrates its 35th year this year with the release of Superman The Movie in December 1978 and, of course, 2013 also brings us the much anticipated release of the newest incarnation of Superman to hit the big screen, 'Man of Steel' which will be hitting screens and blowing minds in June 2013.

An exciting time to be a Superman fan that's for sure.

Whilst the majority of the focus of the site will be on the last 35 years that's not to say that we'll be forgetting the other actors to have played the Man of Tomorrow in the decades preceeding. Ray Middleton, Kirk Alyn, George Reeves and Bob Halliday in addition to their fellow cast members will also be sharing the Superman35 spotlight.

Check back often for new additions either by way of interviews, news, Op-Ed pieces, recent acquisitions to the Superman35 archive and what is hoped will be THE place for Super news.

But that's not all...

Superman35 will be working in partnership with international signing shows in 2013 to bring you the very best in 'Super Guests' and you better believe we'll have photos and memories a-plenty to share.

We'll also be working with two of the very best Super-Sites on the internet, the absolutely definitive archive of the Christopher Reeve years, Jim Bower's wonderful Caped Wonder site and the much visited Superman Homepage.

Hope you enjoy what we'll have for you in 2013

Mark 'Abstractharmony' Cookson
